PM alerts

When the windows pop up to tell you that you've recieved a private message, when you click on it it uses the SOS page thats already open. Would it be possible for it to open a new window? That way if you've clicked reply and get a new message, you dont haveto go back through the thread to reply again, you can just continue?

shouldn't be too difficult, should it kev? Just change the target of the new window.

i had a pop up blocker once, and i didnt realise untill about a week later that i had a load of messages.

Kev,

Just another idea along the same idea's as what's already been suggested... once you have opened the new PM, would it be possible to close the original notification window?

I'm terrible for alt-tabbing away from it and as such not getting any more PM notifications until I notice!

Also when you select a smiley to put in your message, would it be possible for that window with the smileys to automaticly close?

nah, that'd be mecha-annoying if you wanted to use more than one smiley.
