Ummm...

BBC:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/date ... 539447.stm = 258

Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_Am_Flight_103

The 259 victims on the aircraft came from 21 countries.

I think this may prove it probably never possibly happened! yea

i'm guessing 259 was the number of the people on the plane.

I believe you're correct. I have read 11 drunks (sorry Scots) died when the plane got blown out of the sky.

Back to the subject...

I obviously know fuck all about it, so I say let him go free! :headphones:

I heard a radio programme about this the other day and it seems to me that there's a fair bit of doubt that he actually did it by people on all sides of the argument. Including someone who's daughter died in the bombing who's quoted in that article as well.

So if someone who's daughter died thinks the right thing to do is to just let him out and die with his family around him instead of in a cell then I'm inclined to agree with him.

I mean, it's not like they're letting him out so he can have a super fin time, they're letting him out so he can die slowly and painfully.
Just as a postscript to what we've been saying, Professor Lewis, I'd like to say... I saw your mum, coming out of the VD clinic. I'd like to say that anyone with aids, that's you that is. That's your girlfriend, and your mum, and your dad.

yeah i did see that bit shortly after i made this thread actually. fair play to the guy for being so compassionate. personally i'd have wanted the guy killed anyway. assuming he did it of course.
