Calling Musicians: Brand New Hogan Music Website....

Post by Hogan Music Shop » 28 Nov 2007, 16:11

... after months of labour, the brand new website is launched http://www.hoganmusic.co.uk

It's early days yet so stock levels are a bit low, but feel free to take a look, offer us feedback and continue to check back either online or in the shop (3 Craven Road, Newbury) for all your musical needs and requirements.

Many thanks for being a wonderful music loving community,

Hogan Music

Not being funny, but you never have anything i need when i go in that shop, I go elsewhere now out of principle, even though the shop is round the corner for me.

My guitarist friends are equally as impressed with the lack of stock.

Once i was told you had no drumsticks because you 'forgot to order them'.

Dont take this the wrong way, but Hogans needs more than a new website.

I'm with Filsatan, I don't like to be harsh on local businesses because it is nice having a local music shop but Hogans never has anything I need and I also boycott the shop as a silent protest.

Some of the musical things I could quite easily waste my money on or at least want to try out:

Fender Jaguar bass, (or any mid-range + Fender bass)
Ampeg SVT
Strap locks
Coated remo ambasador drum skins
A wooden tambourine (not those horrible sounding plastic ones)
Flatwound bass strings
Shortscale bass strings

I'd be suprised if anything from that list was in-stock.

I know most stuff can be "ordered in" but I can order stuff in myself from the internet and for cheaper.

Rant over, and the website looks good.

Just browsed through the website.
They seem to just sell...

Guitars
Amps/PA
Mixers

Is that it?
Any drum equipment/other instruments? I know they used to sell them, cant seem to see anything on the website at all.

Leedy drumkits due in by the weekend. They will be listed on website on arrival.

Other drum accessories are available in shop but not on website for the time being...

Does anyone know if Hogans still have practice rooms in Newbury?

Cant see anything on the website (apart from that they have a sale on 27 December :thumb: )
