I do need someone to go through the company bank statements and do the books from January up until now because I haven't been arsed to do them thus far. How's your bookkeeping?

I haven't got my ticket yet, but I'll almost definately be there. They were awesome last time they came here. And for all you lucky folks going to the Oxford one, you'll have the legendary DJ Derek on afterwards too. The novelty has worn off a bit for me now, but it's still one of my favourite nights out in Oxford.

fancy going through them with me as a one-off thing? for a fee of course. should be a piece of piss, only monthly outgoing is my wage and phone bill apart from the one month I bought a computer, and income is pretty much the same week in week out.

tom - we shall have to meet up for spliff and ting. tell me, is the venue one of the dying breed where you can still just about get away with having a smoke inside or not?

Quarterly VAT return is due at the end of the month but I can do that no worries. Accountant handles all the other stuff at the end of the year. :spliff:

Wow. Here isn't the place to be talking about tax and all that sort of serious stuff!

Chippy - unfortunately the venue is a Carling Academy, so you're likely to get caught if you do try a cheeky smoke with the security they have floatin around. During gigs as well (for some ridiculous reason) they don't even let you outside to smoke. During the club night afterwards you can go in and out as you please though. Also, as it's a Carling Academy, the drinks are dead expensive. For DJ Derek afterwards though, they take double rum and coke down to £2.50 and pints down to £2 I think. And the bloke that runs the night - Aiden Skylarkin is always down at the front with a bottle of morgans spiced to pour down your throat. Always a feel good vibe there. Let me know when you're coming though. Would be good to have a social drink and/or smoke.

Phone testing still, but I'm contracting. If you form your own limited company and work for that as a director you get to pay a lot less tax than doing it PAYE.
