The Ting Tings

Post by chippy » 25 Jul 2008, 08:42

Seem to rely heavily on either pre-programmed backing or backing tracks. They have some quite good basslines and stuff but they're programmed/recorded, and they essentially play the crap bits, i.e. relatively simplistic drumming and annoying whiney vocals. Why not get some more band members?

By the sound of that, why not give up?

They play the single(s?) all the time at work, and they're so sodding catchy it makes me want to die.
Also, I hate that woman's face, it looks like someone grabbed it and pinched it tight.

Yup. Any other musician enters the studio with them, they cloak and wait for them to leave before continuing to play.
