the singer from thrice, has a solo album out. it's called 'please come home' and it's a bit.......... country. lots of acoustic guitars and harmonicas. very very good though.

Me too Dave! Although I don't have this album, I have a well good bootleg of a live set he did. It's mostly covers but he's got such a great voice. He pulls off two Elvis Cotello covers very well (which I'm usually pretty fussy with) and Nothing Compares To You too. I'll probably download this sometime in the near future.

I did get this a while ago and I've liked it for a while, but it's made a re-appearance for some reason lately. Good album.

I have an album by a chap called Lightspeed Champion, sounds like it's in a similar vein to this. Very good it is too.

I need to listen to Lightspeed Champion. I've heard a lot about him, and it sounds like the sort of thing I'd really like.

This album just is really good. I just love his voice I think. And he's a great lyricist. With Thrice and with his solo stuff and they're done in completely different ways. There's not much aurally to link the two projects together.
I've got back into Thrice a lot lately too. New and old stuff. I'd love to see either of them play at the moment. Dustin would slot in nicely at Glastonbury but I don't see it happening at all.

Dave, one day i hope to meet you and have sex together to the Thrice back catalogue.

I got Please come Home a couple of weeks ago, it is totally awesome, great songs to pick up an acoustic and sing to, Blood and Wine is a right ol foot tapper!

And 'The Artist In The Ambulance' is easily one of the best metal/hardcore/metalcorewhateveryouwant albums ever written, and one of my favourite albums ever ever evers. The Abolition of Man makes me cream my pants and cry at the same time.

Dustin is a totally fucking legend, and also as i've come to realise recently, very shaggable.

As you may have noticed, i am currently not far away from cutting the word Thrice into my eyeballs with a razorblade, such is my adoration for everything they've done. And they're so cruelly underrated. Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie
