Burnt By The Sun Complete New Line Up

Post by THOM » 01 Aug 2005, 12:11

Courstesy of http://www.lambgoat.com the place for news on many scenes.

Burnt By The Sun have now solidified their new lineup. As you may recall, vocalist Mike Olender and drummer Dave Witte left the group last September. As reported a few weeks later, the group quickly added drummer Brandon Thomas (Ripping Corpse, etc.) to their line-up. Fast forward nearly a year, and BBTS has announced the addition of vocalist Nate Johnson (Premonitions Of War, Deadwater Drowning) and guitarist Nick Hale (ex-Premonitions Of War). The band is currently writing material for an EP, which will be available later this year. Meanwhile, a brief East Coast tour is being planned.

I realise that this is ultimate bump, but did anything happen about this. I was listening to them today and I came to the conclusion they're simply one of the best metal bands I've ever listened to.

MAKE ME MORE MUSIC BURNT BY THE SUN, PLEASE OH GOD PLEASE.

This is an excellent arrangement of words. When the hell did it happen?

Also, when did you drop off the face of the internet?

Brandon Thomas left to go back to Ripping Corpse apparently and Dave Witte is back in!! Nick Hale is still in the band along with John Adubato and Ted Patterson, but i think Nate has left and they may (or may not) be getting Mike Olender back in.
They've just released a split with the band Car Bomb and they're sorting out their last full length album at the moment.

UK tour at the end of the year....? As much as i'd like it to happen, take it with a pinch of salt.
