This day is going from bad to worse and it's only midday. :mumble:

I'm stupidly tired.
The woman in the office (who was meant to train me) didn't back up last months stuff properly so I've had yet another wasted journey.
My brother is a greedy bastard and should learn how to not spend his money on crap so that he can actually get to work.
In conclusion I am a rather angry person today.

On a plus side I guess, I am finally getting proper training starting tomorrow. The woman is completely trained in using the programme and I'm going to have a few weeks of two, 3 hour sessions a week. It's only taken 4months for me to start learning

I feel a bit weird. When I was about 17 I fell in love with this girl and took her to Venice. For the whole time we were there I kept hearing this tune on TV and the radio which I started off hating but grew to love. It was this weird Italian ballad and it basically soundtracked our holiday. As time went on, I acted like a bit of dick, blew it with her and she binned me and blah blah. But I just randomly heard the song on some TV programme almost six years later and it made me feel all weird. It reminded me of when I was young and in love and the world was brilliant. Now I just feel old and bitter. It doesn't make me miss her, Just how I felt when I was with her. I guess Sheryl Crow was right, the first cut really is the deepest. So there you have it Snail.

Then you could be TommyDave instead of JohnnyDave. ;)

I feel pretty good. Got a headache, but my sister is home and I have started my training. It's going to be a long n painful process but hey, I'll get there and have a pretty good training behind me for future jobs :)

I had a good day in the studio.

I get to see Orbital in august. That is something I have wanted to do for over a decade!

A few sniffles this moring has turned into a cold which is a load of bollocks!
Well I could call out when the going gets tough
The things that we learned are no longer enough
No language just sound is all we need know
To synchronize love to the beat of the show

I've just done more training and feel a little overwhelmed. It got a bit more in depth today but still only scraped the surface.
The woman who did it before us has left a huge mess behind and I now have to sort through it as well as trying to learn how to do my job. I've got excessive amounts of paper and emails with information on that I'm unsure why I need it. It's starting to sink in that I actually have a rather important role in the workings of this business and that soon enough I wont have a trainer to back me up and help.
I'm actually feeling pretty positive. I really want to learn how to do this job, I've even sent off for some college perspectus to see if I can do a part time/evening course in book keeping just to get more out of it.
Fingers crossed I'll know how to do my job mainly by April when I take over doing all the payroll properly.

Now I'm looking forward to going out and having a pint or three with nice people tonight. :woohoo:

I'm in a bloody awesome mood, had one of the greatest weeks ever. Started on Monday by going to the Watchmen world premiere but the rest of the week was also amazing.

Hurrah for me!

And this happiness should carry on as I'm seeing Rise Against, Anti-Flag and Flobots on Friday at the Roundhouse, which is a proper good venue.
Just as a postscript to what we've been saying, Professor Lewis, I'd like to say... I saw your mum, coming out of the VD clinic. I'd like to say that anyone with aids, that's you that is. That's your girlfriend, and your mum, and your dad.

I feel like I've got chemical burns on my legs. It's pretty fucking sore. :( Who knew nail glue would burn through jeans and onto your leg? :( My jeans actually smoked.
Now I have a big patch of glue with blisters underneath on my thigh. Wonderful.
