Cool - but I've no idea why it needed reporting. Although, this is about as exciting as it gets in Newbury.

Its cool, her's getting on side with the regulars and if he gains respect like that it could make his job a whole lot easier.

but i'm assuming he was on duty, should he not have been out stopping people getting beaten up and whatnot? the reason there are so many kids running around newbury intimidating people is that there isn't enough of a police presence. it's been said many a time. people would be singing a different song if somebody had been assaulted while he was enjoying himself in the pub.

i say its good. newbury actually has a stupidly large amount of police presence compared to other towns of a similar size. its just that newbury has an overwhelming atmosphere of animosity which rears its ugly head when the denizens of the area are pissed up.

i think that the police should be more approchable. After all they are our servants. I like the idea of police just don't like some of the laws that they must uphold.

nah i still don't like it. but then i'm one of those grumpy fuckers that believes coppers should be allowed to give kids a clip around the ear and prison should be a concrete box with bars on the window.

I can think of plenty of situations where it wouldn't be nice if people did unexpected things. :P

NICE unexpected things then.

FOR INSTANCE you don't expect a policeman to play the drums in a pub.
I would've come up with a better example but I am really am in no fit state.

i still don't understand the problem. if you don't want to look at it, don't click. and if you do want to look, then click.

p.s. why the obsession with me looking at fark? is it just one of those things that was cool before but now too many people have heard of it so it's lame?

I guess he should have been working, but I reckon it's pretty cool that he did the drumming. It wasn't like he was drumming for a long time...

no it's just all you seem to do on here currently is post links, i though you might have got a bit muddled up.it's just jarring to see when coming from a forum where contentless threads are deleted. snail's been especially dire recently and it's rendered all the more so if half the new threads are just links. no idea if fark is 'cool' or not.

surely posting a link to something that might become a topic of discussion is better than trolling or posting nothing at all?
