Re: Anyone got a PSP 3000?

It's quite a different job to doing it for a 3000... How old, is it a 1000 or a 2000? Either way, if it's a 1000 or an early 2000 (newer 2000s use the same motherboard as the 3000), then you'll need a special "pandora battery" and memory stick. I don't know the whole process, but you need ...

Anyone got a PSP 3000?

If you do, then there was good news from a couple of forums this weekend, neither of which I can find the direct link to the stories because of the firewall at work... Anyhow, both w and w released firmware enablers that allow unfettered access to homebrew, ISO/CSO and PS1 games. Things that have be...

Glad to hear that he's not being locked up for an eternity. Still a fucking shocker that he's been put into this situation in the first place.

Re: Red Rings of Death!

I've found out that you can get a SNES and NeoGeo emulators for the PSP. I want one. NOW.

Unfortunately I'm in France for a week, and they're like £50 more expensive here than at home. Grrr.

Re: Red Rings of Death!

According to my mate here who has had two xboxes replaced for the RROD problem, you don't even need proof of purchase. Just call MS up and register your serial number. From that point there's no way they can take your (albeit broken) xbox because it was registered as stolen. If it was, I expect they...

Re: Red Rings of Death!

All I know is what i've read about it. Cheap solder that cracks over time when heated and cooled repetitively. Depending on whether the ebay seller was a proper company or not, you might be able to get the warranty sorted (did they give you a proper invoice with company address etc on it?). I think ...

Re: how did you feel as you went under?

The only few times I've been under general anaesthetic was when I was under 10 years old, so I don't have much to draw on... From what I remember though, going under was odd. I remember a little pain running up my arm as the injection contents moved up my bloodstream, and as it reached my shoulder I...

Re: How are you feeling?

There are a lot of bad stories that go around about root canal treatment, but it probably isn't that bad if you can get the anaesthetic. I'd much rather a dead tooth then have no tooth at all. Aye, I've had a root canal treatment which wasn't so horrendous. Luckily for me the anaesthetic worked ok,...
